Anything For My Queen! Fight against other ants to bring back only the best food for your ant queen!

Download the zip folder and unzip, then run the file named "For My Queen!"

Be careful the volume can be a bit loud XD

Controls

You can play with either Mouse and Keyboard or (kind of) with controller!

Mouse + Keyboard / PS4 + PS5 / Xbox

WASD / Left Joystick/ Left Joystick - Move

Left Click / Square /  X - Attack

Right Click / X / A - Parry

Escape / Start / Start - Pause

The game is focused on the Parry mechanic, so try to parry when you can!

GMTK 2024 Theme

This game is our submission to the 2024 GMTK Game Jam! 

We took many liberties with the theme "Built to Scale" by having the Queen ant get bigger and bigger as you bring back more and more food, until eventually she is big enough to rule over the entire world!

We wanted to get more of the theme into the game by having the players ant nest scale up bigger and bigger but with the limited time this feature was cut.

Our team was made up of 3 developers.

Music: 

The music used in "For My Queen!" was all sourced and provided by Abstraction! You can find and use some of their free game music here.

Sound Effects: 

All sound effects were sourced from Pixabay!

Animations: 

All animations were sourced from Mixamo.

VFX: 

• The Slash VFX were created by HungNguyenVFX and were sourced on the Unity Asset Store here.
• The Hearts, Healing and Damage VFX were created by Hovl Studio and were sourced on the Unity Asset Store here.

UI:

The UI used is from the Forest UI Asset pack created by urulla2085 and can be found here.
